MoodleMoot AU 2010
You can be a part of one of Australasia’s largest education conferences in 2010!
MoodleMoot AU 2010 will bring together teachers, trainers, managers and technologists from around the world to share the growing body of knowledge and insight that informs the creation of Moodle learning environments for today's learners.
Presenters and delegates from vocational education and training, higher education, primary and secondary education, and the corporate sector will collaborate and share insights over a four-day program, which will include a mixture of keynote presentations and 25 minute concurrent sessions.
Four keynote speakers will feature over the three days:
- Martin Dougiamas – Founder and lead developer of Moodle, and Managing Director of Moodle Pty Ltd.
- Curtis Bonk – Professor of Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University and co-author of The World is Open, Empowering Online Learning and The Handbook of Blended Learning.
- Helen Carter – Director of the Teaching and Learning Centre at the University of Canberra, and specialist in educational innovation and its practical implementation.
- David Parkin – One of Australia’s leading motivational speakers and a teaching veteran.

A full day workshop, Moodle Masterclass, will be held for those who want to take their Moodle course development skills to the next level. Moodle specialists, Curtis Bonk and Julian Ridden, will provide step-by-step guidance on putting ideas into practice and coach participants through course design in a live, entertaining and hands on environment.
The Moodle Masterclass will be held from 9.00am to 4.30pm on the day preceding the opening of the conference – Sunday 11 July. The fee is separate to the conference registration and is open to everyone. The option to attend the Masterclass will be provided on the conference registration form.
