Save the date! e-Portfolios Australia Conference 2010
Block out your diaries for the ePortfolios Australia Conference 2010, one of the first cross sectoral e-portfolio events in Australia, bringing together delegates from vocational education and training (VET), higher education (HE) and adult and community education (ACE).
National and international educators and thought leaders from each sector will showcase current e-portfolio practices and the ways e-portfolios support learners to transition between education and training, employment and industry areas.
This major national event follows the success of the VET E-portfolios Showcase 09, hosted by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework); and past Australian ePortfolio Symposia, funded by the Australian Learning & Teaching Council (ALTC).
This year, the Framework will join with key organisations representing VET, ACE and HE to support the event, including:
- Queensland University of Technology
- Curtin University of Technology
- Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR)
- Association for Authentic, Experiential and Evidence-Based Learning (AAEEBL).
This cooperation will help forge collaborations between educational sectors to enable the development of a national standards-based approach to the use of e-portfolio technologies for managing learner information.
