The Knowledge Tree: An e-Journal of Learning Innovation is calling for contributions for its 19th edition. If you have a case study about mainstreaming e-learning, we want to hear from you. This edition of The Knowledge Tree will explore issues connected with the role and upskilling of vocational education and training (VET) professionals within the demands of a flexible e-learning context, and the demand for effective registered training organisation, business and community partnerships. It will address the question of: What new skill sets are needed by VET professionals and how will these be acknowledged? Submissions for content close on 10 July, and this edition is due for publication on 13 October. To submit an article or to suggest an idea, please email the editorial team at: e-events [at] flexiblelearning.net.au (Please replace at with @ to use the email address). For more details, visit the guidelines for contributions page on The Knowledge Tree website. Edition 18 of The Knowledge Tree will be published on 28 July and has a focus on e-assessment, RPL (recognition of prior learning) and e-portfolios. Allison Miller, the Framework’s E-portfolios Business Manager, writes the lead article; and along with a range of interviews and other items, watch out for the short article on Dis-integrating e-Portfolios by Stephen Downes.
