In 2010, 13 free e-Gems webconferencing sessions delivered the latest in e-learning information and resources to vocational education and training (VET) practitioners across Australia.

The Australian Flexible Learning Framework’s (Framework) e-Gems online sessions provide unique learning and networking opportunities on a range of topics including virtual worlds, e-capability, accessibility and accessing interactive online education and training resources.

Framework e-Events Manager, Jyothi Jayaram said that the e-Gems series, run since 2008, has become a valuable resource for practitioners.

“2010 has been a great year for the e-Gems series. Practitioners across Australia have taken advantage of the series, which provides an opportunity to engage with e-learning experts on the latest technologies, tools, accessibility standards, copyright issues, and research,” Jyothi said.
